This video was the product of my first assignment at college. On the first day I attended class, me and my group were told to go out into town and make a video that represented life in the area. We decided to create a music video to the song “Money” by The Drums, and show how teenagers live their lives in Southend.
My first project in college was to make a music video to a song that was released more than 15 years ago. It was the first video we made that would go towards our overall grade of the year. I decided to make a conceptual music video to the song “Video Killed the Radio Star” by The Buggles.
For my second project, I was asked to make a documentary. The only rule we was given was that it had to be more then 15 minutes. I decided to make it about the effects that a teenager would experience if they lived an unhealthy lifestyle living inside and playing video games all day.
For my final project, I was asked to create a video using everything I had learnt at college. It could be any kind of media, such as a script, short film, music video, advertisement etc. I decided to create another conceptual music video, as it was my favourite topic out of all the projects we did. I made it to the song “Re-Design Your Logo” by Lemon Demon. Just like all of my other main projects, I planned, filmed, acted, and edited the whole thing by myself.
I am an enthusiastic media student with a keen interest in film production. I have completed a BTEC level 3 in Film and Television production and attained a distinction star. I have a particular interest in editing and cinematography
